Launch

I am starting a monthly newsletter, The North Shore Nuggets, which I plan to alternate between a print and email version, delivering local news and events from Tatamagouche to: Pugwash, Earltown, Wentworth and River John, which is about 4,000 copies through Canada Post. There are lots of details that haven’t been sorted out yet, but a colleague has told me, “Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good”, which turns out to be an old Italian proverb.

As we get the ball rolling, we are launching a fun ‘Race to 1000’ online subscribers. Each time we add 100 subscribers, we will have a draw for a prize from a local business. All subscribers will be entered in the drawn, and if you have referred someone, you will receive a bonus ballot. If we reach 1000 subscribers by midnight on April 30, 2025, we will have a Grand Prize Draw for a $250 gift certificate to a local business of your choice.
